Désolée, tout est en anglais
On behalf of all of us at Women’s Ordination Conference and FutureChurch, thank you so much for registering for “Diakonia & Determination!”
We hope you were able to join us live on Monday evening as we prayed to renew our hearts with the spirit of diakonia and determination so that we may transform our church into a beloved community, alive with the gifts, potential, and vocations of all its members.
We are so grateful to everyone who attended and everyone who participated, and especially to Rose Lue, Alyssa Pedicino, and Carmen Ramos, who blessed us with their powerful witnesses. It was a beautiful and sacred time of lament, hope, and determination because of all of you and your presence.

- Learn and share! Education about the history of women deacons is still needed! Consider hosting a study group on Women Deacons: Past, Present, Future by Phyllis Zagano, Gary Macy, and William Ditewig. Resources can be found at https://sites.hofstra.edu/

- Tell her story! Reclaim the stories our foremothers in faith. Right now FutureChurch has an open letter calling on the Church to proclaim the Gospel of John’s full Easter narrative on Easter Sunday. Sign the letter and learn more about efforts to expand the lectionary at https://futurechurch.org/
